Blusik was working with a client in social services industry. Through our close communication with this client we saw a big opportunity for our client to streamline operations and offer a state of the art solutions for their constituents. What we saw was they had many caseworkers all over the country that were working with clients. These caseworkers all kept their own paper files and information. Due to there being no centralized repository for each clients records, other caseworkers, the client, and the clients family had to request the information they needed from each caseworker individually. They then had to wait for that information to come to them so that they could pull it all together and get a "Full file" on the individual.
Blusik saw this as a great opportunity to create a portal to house this information that was accessible via the Internet. We met with our client and did a complete analysis of their processes and operational needs. We then developed a plan, built a solution, and implemented. Now the social service workers all can use consistent data when working with their clients. Other caseworkers that are working with the individual have immediate access to their clients records which gives them the important information they need to accurate treat the client. Also the client and their designated representative can access their information at any time to get a line of sight on their progress and action plans that they have developed with their caseworkers.
